Ceremonial Matcha
$48Our house grade: smooth, naturally sweet and made for a whisked bowl. 30g tin.

Ceremonial grade · Whisked to order
A premium matcha and specialty tea café — and a shop of stone-milled tins, tools and blends for the bowl at home.

Our Story
Emerald Whisk began with a single chawan on a kitchen counter and a stubborn question: why was good matcha so hard to find outside Japan?
Today we work with a small circle of growers in Uji and Kagoshima, buying shade-grown leaf by the harvest and having it stone-milled in slow batches so the powder reaches the tin bright, sweet and fine as silk.
The café is where all of it comes together — every bowl whisked by hand at the bar, every tin on the shelf the same tea we serve in it.

Why matcha
Because you drink the whole leaf, a bowl of matcha carries the tea's naturally occurring antioxidants with it.
Matcha's caffeine arrives gently — a long, level lift rather than a spike and a slump.
The amino acid L-theanine occurs naturally in shade-grown tea and pairs with caffeine for steady attention.
Sift, whisk, pour. Two quiet minutes that make the rest of the morning feel less rushed.
Stone-milled powder suspends in water instead of steeping, which is why the texture is so full.
Straight in a bowl, long over ice, or folded into the milk of your choice.
